Still can't reproduce the problem, but I don't use XEmacs with Windows.
I've put on my list to try with no-Gnus final, but I have no idea how
long it'll be before I get to it. You might want to ask on xemacs-beta,
to get more eyes looking at this.
Every time I do that, Stephen opens a tracker issue :)
When I first view the article, it's in raw HTML. Did you do any washing
on the article before the crash?
I have gnus configured to automatically download images and display html
using the gnus-w3m renderer.
Having looked at this some more, it seems that the non-ascii double
quote at the start of the subject is causing XEmacs problems as well.
Shame that I'm mule-ignorant.
