On Fedora 15, xemacs 21.5.31-1 and xemacs-packages-20110502-1, when
opening a tty frame with gnuclient, the main X11 frame (first opened
fram) has their foreground and background colors reset to default values
overriding any values the use may have changed with
set-face-[fore|back]ground.  Verified with xemacs -vanilla
