The problem described in the file "bug-save" probably isn't our problem;
it looks to me like ical is handing the wrong arguments to gnus
functions, probably because it expects a different version of gnus.

The problem with saving the trace buffer is our problem, but it is very
unlikely to get fixed in 21.4 (although I'll take a look).  It can
probably be worked around by setting a universal coding system such as
'iso-2022-jp or 'utf-8 using C-x C-m C-f before saving.

I will take a look at 21.5.
