See issue513 for the symptoms.

Has this been verified to be a problem on 21.4?  Note that the docstring 
in question may have been changed, so h-a-g-d could be broken even if 
the problem doesn't manifest.

Idea for regression test: create a dummy function with "evil" docstring, 
and see what h-a-g-d produces.
