I'm unable to get MH-E 8.3 to build in the package tree. See http://list-archive.xemacs.org/pipermail/xemacs-beta/2013-January/023770.html for a description of the build problem. This is not an issue that the upstream devs are familiar with, and my Lisp skills are inadequate for figuring this out. Since this breaks the build, I am ceasing work on this bug. If anyone else would like to take over the bug, feel free to ask me for the patches that I've accumulated so far.

The current mh-e package is 7.4.2. The latest upstream version is 8.0.3. It has a variety of improvements; the one I notice most often is improved search facilities.
