As of 2009-10-15, the current XEmacs 21.4 sources from CVS will not
compile under cygwin 1.7 using gcc-4 ["gcc --version" reports gcc (GCC)
4.3.4 20090804 (release) 1].  XEmacs 21.4 can be compiled using gcc-3
["gcc --version" reports gcc-3 (GCC) 3.4.4 (cygming special, gdc 0.12,
using dmd 0.125)].
